“People are arrested for merely expressing themselves...”

The Modern Day Persecuted and Prosecuted

Christians have become the most persecuted and prosecuted people in our country today (except for obvious criminals).  Our ministers and many others are being incarcerated for speaking against certain groups (teaching biblical principles), peacefully demonstrating against those advocating anti-Christian positions, and are being accused of committing hate crimes just for talking about matters, some of which were even criminal just a few short years ago.  In effect, those in authority have intimidated, harassed and even punished those who dare to stand up for and encourage conduct which can only be described as moral and right by anyone genuinely interested in a moral civilized society.

Probably not realizing it, many have supported the laws which support such prosecutions -- laws dealing with racism, discrimination, harassment and hate crimes.  These are purely UNCONSTITUTIONAL THOUGHT CONTROL LAWS.

There are organizations devoted to supporting most every offended group EXCEPT the people of faith interested in protecting or promoting the basic principles espoused by our founders (probably the vast majority).

The result of these laws is that most anything and everything is protected EXCEPT efforts to restore right and wrong, and efforts to pursue matters supposedly protected by the Bill of Rights.  What are a few examples?

  1. While government buildings all across the country are covered with engravings of the Ten Commandments or parts thereof, there is a massive effort to remove them.
  2. The Boy Scouts of America are denied use of public facilities because they want to promote certain values.
  3. People are charged with criminal conduct for peacefully demonstrating against abortion or homosexuality.
  4. People are arrested for merely expressing themselves about abortion and homosexuality.
  5. People protected by these unconstitutional laws are indoctrinating our children with all sorts of information traditionally requiring parental consent.

This list is certainly not complete by any means.

Leaders of some groups concerned about the collapse of our culture admit to being so intimidated that they refuse to openly discuss issues which might help to restore our culture and traditional values.  Many seem to have more fear of being called intolerant, anti-Semitic or some other derogatory term rather than speak out about their values.

The bottom line is that the Christian community has become the lone unprotected group in our society.  WE are trampled upon time and again and so few have the courage to step out to "defend the faith."  Such intimidation has recently even been expanded to include those legitimately critical of other government activities.  ISN'T IT TIME TO GET CONCERNED?
