Liberty? Rights? Justice?
Freedom? |
Where Is the Outrage? For many years now, our basic liberties have been steadily taken from us and few seem to notice. Today, we have very few of the freedoms many of us enjoyed just a few years ago. WHERE IS THE OUTRAGE? Please consider:
...and on, and on, and on ad infinitum. How much worse can it possibly get? Our mailboxes are filled with requests for funds from faith based organizations, family values organizations, organizations designed to “preserve our liberties” and so called conservative organizations, all or most of which seem to have little concern about recovering what was lost even before 9-11. Most or all of these groups are involved in “defensive measures” designed to slow the growth of these types of issues, but rarely work to educated their supporters about these losses or AGGRESSIVELY work to recover these lost BASIC RIGHTS. For our country to survive as our Founding Fathers envisioned, we MUST change from a defensive mode to an OFFENSIVE mode. It has been said that most efforts resulting in improved conditions in our country have been the result of an enraged clergy. There is no group better prepared or who has more at stake than our clergy in restoring the freedoms and God-given rights to our families and children. There is no way such an effort can be labeled as political. Such an effort is a grass roots effort to restore the cultural values as expressed so clearly in many of our founding documents. There is good reason to believe that few people actually realize how our political leaders have failed in protecting our God-given and constitutionally protected rights. While no one can KNOW the will of God, how can He look with favor on those who RECOGNIZE THESE LOSSES and neglect to use their influence to restore our rights? Your participation in this effort is critical if our country is to survive as our Founders envisioned. |
